Fort Eustis COVID Trailers | ENDIST Mobile Contracting Division
When the COVID-19 Pandemic hit, the ENDIST Mobile Contracting Division on the Fort Eustis Military Base in Newport News, Virginia needed a separate temporary space to test military troops for the virus. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers put the bid out through the GSA Multiple Award Schedule and Sustainable Modular Management was able to provide the building they needed with speed and ease. The interior of the building was designed to maintain a wide-open space fit for social distancing. The building also features two doors, one on each side of the building. Military personnel walked in one door to get tested and then out the back door that faced the medical center, where they would go to quarantine if they tested positive.
Sustainable Modular Management has a long-standing relationship with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and this project was one of many completed for them over the years as their trusted partner in the modular construction industry.
