Georgetown ISD

Georgetown Independent School District in Georgetown, Texas was experiencing massive growth and needed immediate classroom space to accommodate the influx of students to the area. The Pacific Mobile Structures Team reached out at just the right time and within 15 days, provided six 24X64 relocatable classroom buildings through the TIPS cooperative purchasing contract. TIPS is a national purchasing cooperative that offers access to competitively procured purchasing contracts to its membership, saving schools, government entities, and non-profits time and money.

The buildings were the first relocatable classrooms in the school district. They were placed on a grass island between the main school building and the parking lot. The interior of the buildings feature T-grid ceilings, vinyl covered gypsum walls, and VCT flooring. The exterior of the buildings feature metal roofs, steel doors, and single hung aluminum frame windows.

Pacific Mobile Structures’ response to Georgetown Independent School District’s needs is a response to a larger need across the United States.
