As part of this year’s Positive Impact volunteer efforts, the Portland branch of Pacific Mobile Structures partnered with Clackamas County Parks to help improve water safety at two high-risk park locations. 

The project focused on installing life jacket loaner stations to provide visitors with easy access to life-saving equipment while enjoying local waterways. The stations are designed to encourage water safety and help prevent accidents by making life jackets readily available to the public. 

This effort was made possible through collaboration with several community partners, including Ace Hardware and the Oregon State Marine Board, along with other local agencies that helped provide donations of signs and life jackets. 

By working together, the team was able to create a meaningful and lasting resource that will benefit families and visitors throughout the community for years to come. 

Supporting projects like this reflects Pacific Mobile Structures’ commitment to serving the communities where we live and work. The mission behind this volunteer effort strongly aligns with our company values because it focuses on community support, public safety, and making a direct positive impact. 

For the Portland branch, choosing to partner with Clackamas County Parks was about more than completing a volunteer project. It was about helping protect lives, promoting safety awareness, and contributing to a stronger community.
