Pacific Mobile Structures Positive Impact Week
This April, we proudly wrapped up our second annual Positive Impact Week, a powerful testament to our company-wide commitment to giving back. Every Pacific Mobile Structures employee receives eight hours of volunteer time annually, and Positive Impact Week is all about turning those hours into hands-on support for causes that matter.
Branches across the company teamed up with local organizations of their choice, bringing energy, compassion, and teamwork to service projects that made a real difference. From building garden beds to assembling food kits and delivering beds to kids in need, our teams showed up with purpose and heart.
At the core of this effort is one of our company values—We SERVE to positively impact the lives of others. Positive Impact Week is a reflection of that value in action. It’s a time when our teams step away from their desks and job sites to lend a hand, uplift others, and strengthen the communities we call home.
So far, we’ve contributed 882 volunteer hours toward our company-wide goal of 1,299 hours, and the impact is already being felt. Here’s a look at the meaningful work done across our locations:
🏠 Ceres – Healthy Rooms Project
We refreshed and improved bedrooms for two families, supporting five children in total. This meaningful effort gave the kids safe, comfortable, and welcoming spaces they can truly call their own.
🌸 Chehalis – Chehalis Parks and Recreation
Our team cleaned and weeded downtown flower beds, adding a fresh and inviting look to the community.
🌲 Corporate – Chehalis River Basin Land Trust
Volunteers removed invasive weeds along the Discovery Trail, helping preserve the natural beauty and health of the Chehalis River area.
🧥 Dallas – The Store House
We packed over 3,000 pounds of food, sorted 963 articles of clothing, and re-stocked 63 pairs of shoes. This free clothing store served families in need and processed more than 350,000 items last year.
🌿 Marysville – Down to Earth Community Gardens
Our enthusiastic team built several raised garden beds to expand access to fresh, sustainable produce. We also weeded and refreshed flowerbeds, bringing new life and beauty to the gardens.
🌾 Pasco – Tri-Cities Food Bank and Kennewick Benton County Canine Shelter
We sorted and packed potatoes, labeled cans, and bagged frozen foods. At the shelter, we gave dogs some love by walking and playing with them throughout the day.
🥫 Phoenix – United Food Bank
As part of a four-month ongoing commitment, our Phoenix team packed 1,530 emergency food bags in April alone to support families facing food insecurity.
🧴 Remote – Catholic Charities
One of our remote team members used their volunteer hours to assemble and donate more than 40 Summer Comfort Kits for individuals experiencing homelessness. Each kit included a drawstring bag, sunscreen, sunglasses, flip-flops, deodorant, lotion, socks, underwear, and uplifting stickers to offer both comfort and care.
🌳 Riverside – Wildomar Beautification Volunteers, Wildomar Conservation Corp, Junk Bros
Our team collaborated with local organizations to trim trees, clean up weeds, and remove trash, helping beautify and restore the Wildomar community.
🛏️ San Antonio – Sleep in Heavenly Peace
Our team assembled and delivered eight beds—two for boys and six for girls—for children in need. Tools for the project were generously provided by PMSI.
🍚 Spokane – 2nd Harvest Foods
We helped package rice for community food distribution.
Thank you to everyone who participated. Your time, energy, and compassion are making a real difference. Let’s keep the momentum going and continue working toward our goal of 1,299 volunteer hours and beyond.
