Positive Impact Days: Coming Together to Make a Difference

Our teams are showing up in a big way for Positive Impact Days, with meaningful volunteer projects planned and already completed across the company. This annual tradition not only honors the incredible efforts of volunteers but also highlights the lasting impact they create in our communities.

Here’s a look at the amazing projects making a difference this year:

Boise – Lending a Hand at Home

Over two days, one team is helping with landscaping and fence repairs on a teammate’s father’s farm, while another is assisting an elderly couple with deck staining and yard work.

Ceres – Relay for Life & Healthy Rooms Project

The Ceres team is doubling their impact by supporting Relay for Life and transforming a bedroom for a child in need through the Healthy Rooms Project, complete with a new bed, desk, dresser, fresh paint, and more.

Chehalis – Spring Clean-Up at Chehalis Parks & Recreation

Partnering with Chehalis Parks and Recreation, the team is rolling up their sleeves for spring clean-up at the library grounds, Recreation Park, and Downtown Garden Beds.

Corporate – Trail Building & Habitat Restoration

With the Chehalis River Basin Land Trust, volunteers are completing a community walking trail by adding hog fuel to a carved-out path, enhancing access to nature. They are also removing invasive species and tackling canary grass to give native plants the space to thrive.

Dallas – The Storehouse Community Center

The Dallas team is preparing to support The Storehouse Community Center, whose mission is to feed, clothe, and care for neighbors as one community.

Marysville – School Garden Project

Partnering with Down to Earth Community Gardens, the Marysville team is helping build a new garden at Kellogg Marsh Elementary, giving students a vibrant outdoor space to learn and grow.

Pasco – Food & Fur Support

Earlier this month, Pasco volunteers lent a hand at the Kennewick Food Bank and a local animal shelter, supporting both families and pets in need.

Phoenix – Ongoing Support with United Food Bank

In Phoenix, the team is making a long-term commitment by volunteering two hours each month at United Food Bank to help fight food insecurity.

Portland – Flexible but Focused

Despite scheduling challenges, volunteers are still finding ways to give back. One is helping with an animal rescue in SW Washington, while another is assembling Summer Comfort Kits for Catholic Charities to support the homeless.

Riverside – Beautifying Wildomar

Partnering with a City Council member and the Wildomar Beautification Volunteers, the Riverside team is tackling road and park clean-up projects across the city.

San Antonio – Building Beds with Sleep in Heavenly Peace

In San Antonio, three teams are building and delivering four beds each with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, ensuring children in need have a safe, comfortable place to rest.

Spokane – Hunger Relief with 2nd Harvest

Already completed, the Spokane team volunteered at 2nd Harvest Volunteer Center, packing donated food to help families facing hunger.

We are incredibly proud of the passion, heart, and teamwork shown by every branch. Together, we are creating real, lasting change in our communities, one project at a time.
