Pacific Mobile Structures partnered with Blazer, Portland State University, and Integrus Architecture to deliver a cutting-edge modular facility for the Lake Washington School District. The Kirkland Middle School SAGE Complex in Kirkland, WA, spans 13,328 sq. ft. across 17 modules, seamlessly integrating with the existing campus under the KCDA Cooperative Purchasing Agreement.
Designed to address the district’s growing classroom needs, the facility includes dedicated science labs, a cooking kitchen, and a striking 17-foot-high hallway flooded with natural light. Sustainability and energy efficiency were prioritized, meeting Portland State University’s SAGE standards with features like 100% fresh air ventilation, occupancy sensors, and a reflective TPO roof.
By completing 80-90% of the construction offsite, Pacific Mobile Structures ensured minimal site disruption, efficient costs, and timely delivery for the new school year. The SAGE Complex demonstrates the flexibility, efficiency, and quality achievable through modular construction while fostering an exceptional learning environment.
