Hoquiam School District Administrative Building
The Hoquiam School District needed a new administrative building to operate as their district office. They needed the building to be ready for use by the end of summer. With a relatively small population, the Hoquiam School District had a limited budget to work with and looked to modular construction in order to meet their needs quickly and within budget.
Hoquiam sits right on the Pacific Ocean and experiences over 100 inches of rain a year. It was essential that Pacific Mobile use higher-end products that are able to withstand the harsh elements presented, such as non-corrosive paint and a metal roof. The building itself sits on a very steep hill and a stem wall foundation was used to ensure the building sat at grade level. The front of the building is embellished with stone wrapping to give the appearance of standard stick-built construction.
